THE SLOW RUSH REVIVAL 1968-2009 [Still Rockin’] Back in the late 60’s The SLOW RUSH Band was formed consisting of Pete Sacchetti on lead guitar & vocals, Steve Sacchetti on drums & vocals, Jimi Simon on the Hammond organ & vocals and Bill “Willie” Farrell, fresh from a tour of Southeast Asia, on the bass. Jimi Simon later left SLOW RUSH to join up with the Half Moon Band members Charlie Crowder, Jimmy Barnett, Tommy Chilcote and vocalist Sheri Clineman. The SLOW RUSH Band continued to rock with various members coming and going including Skeeter Barberi, Bart Windsor, Billy Wier, Johnny Johnson & Greg Liggins. A merger between Jimi Simon’s Half Moon Band and big brother Dale “Rocky” Simon’s Harvey Hubcap & the Do Ron Ron lead to the formation of The Southern Maryland Band…(T.S.M.B) which to date is known as the Fabulous Hubcaps.
